Daniel Merchant, Logistics and Office Administration – King Lumber

Daniel has been a member of the King Lumber team for over 6 years, coming to the company from Cadence Bank in 2013 to help the team with their logistics functions.  Daniel’s current responsibilities include interfacing with suppliers of both raw material and transportation services to ensure the operations are well stocked.  Additionally, Daniel serves as the shipping and receiving hub for the site, responsible for ensuring accuracy of our shipments, both inbound with green lumber and outbound to our customers with their finished goods. 

Daniel is a proud alumni of Mississippi State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music.

In his free time Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, pursuing his love of music, fishing, and serving as a worship leader at his church.
